About the job

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our restaurant located on Queen St. West. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the foodservice industry, as well as knowledge of wine and bartending.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and quality control
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Manage and monitor restaurant budgets and financial performance
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee purchasing and receiving of restaurant supplies and equipment
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in the foodservice industry
  • Strong knowledge of wine and must have bartending experience
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven track record of driving sales and increasing revenue
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
