Overview: Bombay Vintage Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in Burlington, ON. This full-time, permanent position involves overseeing daily operations to ensure high standards of food quality and customer service in our restaurant, catering firm, and fine dining establishment.

Languages:

Education:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys

Supervision:

  • 3-4 people
